Customer are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following terms & conditions
listed
below:
1. DEFINITION
The Company refers to Pearl Holiday (M) Travel & Tour Sdn.Bhd.
and its authorized Sales Agent/s.
- Ticket: refer to air ticket or admission ticket.
- FIT package: refer to Free Independent Traveler or Self Drive package which includes
ground service only.
- GIT package: refer to Group Independent Traveler package which departs in group once
minimum size is formed.
2. TOUR FARE
Unless specified, tour fare only includes:
- A return air fare on economy class (for GIT by flight) or return coach transfer service
(for GIT by coach).
- Hotel accommodation or similar class as specified in the itinerary.
- Meals as specified in the itinerary.
- Sightseeing as stated in the itinerary.
- One reasonable-size baggage; flight baggage allowance follows airline policy.
Organizers reserve the right to adjust package prices due to currency fluctuations or
increases in transportation costs,
airport taxes and fuel surcharges until departure date.
Tour fare excludes visa fees, personal expenses, excess baggage, insurance, beverages,
porterage, laundry,
gratuities, optional excursions, and all charges not expressly included in the itinerary.
3. BOOKING, RESERVATION & DEPOSIT
- All bookings are on first come first serve basis.
- Deposit schedule:
- FIT packages: RM 200 per person.
- FIT + air ticket: RM 200 per person + full payment for air ticket.
- GIT by coach: RM 200 per person.
- GIT by flight: RM 2000 per person.
- Balance/full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure; failure may cancel
reservation and forfeit deposit.
- Deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- For special promotions/travel fairs, company may require higher deposit or full payment
during booking.
4. PAYMENT
- Payment by credit card is subject to surcharge.
- Cheque payments are valid only after clearance.
- Telegraphic/bank transfer payments are valid only after proof and bank confirmation.
5. CANCELLATION
For FIT Tour Packages:
- 45 days or more: administrative fee RM150 or deposit, whichever is higher.
- Less than 45 days: administrative fee RM200 or deposit, whichever is higher.
- 21 days: 50% of tour fare or deposit per person, whichever is higher.
- 20 to 14 days: 75% of tour fare or deposit per person, whichever is higher.
- Less than 14 days: full forfeiture of tour fare.
For Group Tour Packages:
- 45 days or more: administrative fee RM1000 or deposit, whichever is higher.
- Less than 45 days: administrative fee RM2000 or deposit, whichever is higher.
- 21 days: 50% of tour fare or deposit per person, whichever is higher.
- 20 to 14 days: 75% of tour fare or deposit per person, whichever is higher.
- Less than 14 days: full forfeiture of tour fare.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing. Airline
cancellation rules may apply in addition.
6. AMENDMENT TO BOOKING
Amendment notice must be made in writing by the person who made
the original booking.
- FIT: amendment charge RM50 per person per change.
- No FIT changes within 8 working days before departure.
- GIT: no changes within 30 days before departure.
- Any major reservation change is treated as cancellation and subject to cancellation
charges.
7. GIT TOUR MATERIALIZATION & CANCELLATION
- GIT tours require minimum 20 adults.
- Company may change, postpone, or cancel for insufficient group or events beyond control.
- Alternative tours may be offered; additional fare difference is payable if higher.
- If not accepted, refund is limited to payments made less applicable administrative
charges.
8. TOUR LEADER (GIT ONLY)
Tour leader is arranged for groups with minimum 20 adults and subject
to availability.
9. SCHEDULE CHANGES / ITINERARY AMENDMENT
Airline schedule or local conditions may require itinerary and hotel
changes without compensation.
10. REFUND
No refund/reduction for any unused flight sector, sightseeing,
transfer, or accommodation.
11. PASSPORT
All tour members must ensure passport validity of at least 6 months
from return date to Malaysia.
12. VISA APPLICATION
Tour members are encouraged to process visa independently. Assistance may be provided, but
approval is not guaranteed.
Service charges and visa fees are borne by tour members.
13. EXTENSION STAY
Extension/deviation is subject to seat availability and all extra
charges are at passenger's own expense.
14. RIGHT TO REJECT
Organizers reserve the right to reject/withdraw any person from tour membership if they may
endanger others,
impair enjoyment, or are refused by carriers/hotels/contractors.
15. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Tour members are encouraged to purchase travel insurance. Organizer is not personally liable
for injuries,
disability, personal losses, or death arising from the tour.
16. CO-OPERATION
Tour leader has full discretion to manage uncooperative members, including requiring them to
leave the tour,
with no refund for uncompleted portion.
17. HEALTH ADVICE
All members are strongly advised to seek independent medical advice
before travelling.
18. HEALTH CERTIFICATE
Members must obtain required health certificates at their own expenses
where applicable.
19. SPECIAL CARE REQUEST
Company is not required to provide special support for disabled/handicapped individuals or
persons with medical
conditions. Members should prepare their own required care/support.
20. RESPONSIBILITY
Company and authorized agents act only as agents for transport companies, hotels and other
participants. Company
shall not be responsible for losses, damages, injuries, delays, disruptions, or additional
costs caused by matters
beyond control, subject to applicable law.
21. FEEDBACK & RESPONSE
Constructive feedback should be submitted in writing within 7 days from return date. Company
reserves the right to
amend terms and conditions without prior notice. In case of language differences, English
version prevails.
Any dispute is subject to the laws of Malaysia and jurisdiction of courts in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
